Why NKY’s Talent Attraction & Retention is Critical for Kentucky’s Bottom Line

The NKY Chamber will host a Government Forum luncheon at Northern Kentucky University’s BB&T Arena on Thursday, October 25^th from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The lunch will be in conjunction with the October meetings of the Interim Joint Committee meetings for Appropriations and Revenue, which is expecting over 40 Kentucky state legislators to attend.

Panel Discussion:

Join us for a panel discussion regarding the importance of Northern Kentucky’s talent attraction and retention efforts and how critical those are for Kentucky’s bottom line.

Panelists will include:

Garren Colvin, President & CEO, St. Elizabeth Healthcare
Eric Summe, President & CEO, meetNKY
Candace McGraw, CEO, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport

Leading the panel discussion will be Gene Kirchner, NKY Chamber COO & Senior VP. Kirchner will include an update on the GROW NKY’s efforts to attract and retain talent across our region.

A variety of Budget Review Subcommittees will start meeting at 10:00am, followed by our luncheon, then a 1:00pm monthly Appropriations and Revenue meeting chaired by Senator Chris McDaniel. The Tax Task Force will finish the day with a committee meeting at 3:00pm on NKU’s campus. Click here to gain more information about these committee meetings. We are expecting around 45-50 legislators from across the Commonwealth to be in attendance for these meetings.
