Presenter, Sergeant Keith Begley; Boone County Sheriff's Department

A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Sergeant Begley served seven years active duty in the United States Air Force, where he also attended The Community College of the Air Force. After the U.S. Air Force, he spent time with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and then moved to his current role, where he has been for 13 years.

Join us for lunch and learn practical information around the development of an active shooter plan for your organization. Based on the Department of Homeland Security's Run, Hide, Fight Program, Sergeant Begley will discuss considerations when developing your own plan in the event of an active shooter. He will address prevention, planning and what to do when law enforcement arrives.

ABOUT THE NORTHERN KENTUCKY SAFETY FORUM:

A group of professionals in the field of Occupational Safety and Health field were discussing the need for a forum that connects on a regular basis to network with others in the field, exchange experiences, trade best practices and learn about essential tools to do our jobs better. While many individuals belong to professional associations, they felt those associations were not meeting the needs of building a robust, agile community that is loosely formed. Most associations require membership and are often controlled by sponsors & advertisers vs. the community. This forum will be user-driven. Content and topics will be determined by those who attend and participate. We thank the Northern Kentucky Chamber for supporting our efforts.
