To mark this event, Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Arch Gleason will address the lottery's effects on Northern Kentucky. In the 15 years since lottery proceeds were dedicated to scholarships and grants, more than $2,000,000,000 has been awarded to some of Kentucky's best, brightest and most deserving students. In fact, of every dollar in student aid awarded by the Commonwealth, 95 cents of it comes directly from the sales of lottery tickets in our state. On July 15th, learn:
- Exactly how does the lottery benefit Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties, specifically with regard to scholarship and grant programs affecting students and schools in the area?
-Are those commonly held beliefs on the lottery really true? Why or why not?
