Northern Kentucky International Trade & Affairs will host a special session in partnership with the Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati (JASGC) on the USA /Japan Trade Agreement on Tuesday, November 19th at New Riff Distilling (24 Distillery Way, Newport, KY 41071).

Attendees will hear from Joe Dehner, Attorney from Frost Brown Todd, and his colleague Emily Tanji on the USA/Japan Trade Agreement and the legal impact. Their presentation will be followed by a presentation by Tim Hughes, Senior Trade Advisor from the Office of the Commissioner for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, on the impact the agreement will have on the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The final presentation is on how the pact will impact the region's organizations' day-to-day business.

"This session is important for all businesses in the region who rely on agriculture and industrial goods, to stay up-to-date on the new agreement," said Debby Shipp, Vice President of Business Growth and International Trade at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber).

USA/Japan Trade Agreement will start at 3:00 p. m. with check-in, continue with presentations, and end at 5:15 p.m. when attendees have the opportunity to tour the distillery for $10/person. Registration is $25 for NKY Chamber Members and JASGC and $35 for future NKY Chamber Members, distillery tour not included. Registration includes one free drink ticket and is available online at www.nkychamber.com/events. Distillery Tours are handled by New Riff Distillery.
