Nonprofit Highlight

Welcome House works to end homelessness by offering a continuum of services to clients to take them from housing uncertainty to housing stability. The continuum is made up of three main service areas which include: housing, service coordination and outreach and stability. Welcome House was founded in 1982 by a coalition of churches. Since their doors opened they have expanded services to not only encompass an emergency shelter, but to take a holistic approach in their mission of ending homelessness. You can help support their mission by bringing granola bars, fruit cups, protein bars, snack size bags of chips or other single-size shelf stable snacks or travel size hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) to the CONNECT Hour or donate here.
