Our subject matter experts are:

LCDR Melissa Seaton is a certified industrial hygienist working in the Division of Science Integration (DSI) of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). She has experience deploying in multiple CDC response activities and is currently a subject matter expert on the Worker Safety and Health Team within the COVID-19 response. LCDR Seaton has earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan and a M.S. in Environmental Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Brenda Jacklitsch is a research health scientist and serves as Coordinator for the Small Business Assistance Program within the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Earlier this year, she participated in a CDC COVID-19 Response deployment where she was Fact Sheet Coordinator for the Worker Safety and Health Team. Dr. Jacklitsch has a PhD in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati, and an MS in Epidemiology and a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.

Steve Divine Steve Divine is a Registered Sanitarian and serves as Director of Environmental Health and Safety for the Northern Kentucky Health Department. He has over 31 years experience working in public health and is responsible for the Department’s regulatory inspection and enforcement programs, along with its emergency preparedness and response efforts. He has spent the majority of the last seven months focusing on COVID-19 public health response measures due to the ongoing pandemic. Divine has a B.S. in Biology from Northern Kentucky University.
